THE INVISIBLE HAND ambient, soundscapes - various artists
SOMNIA - YES/NO electro, ambient
SIX YEARS OF HOME RECORDING lo-fi, rock, experiment - 4-track compilation
"Drowsily beautiful" - 3voor12 Arnhem/Nijmegen album review [Dutch]
The
Invisible Hand is a dreamy ambient compilation. At times smooth and
comforting, but at other moments quite psychedelic and/or abstract.
It demands your attention and a quiet, intimate mood.
Various artists have contributed a track that they thought would fit
the concept of
a gradual descent from afternoon into twilight and evening, past
midnight, and into sleep and dream:
1 Kill Kill Confetti - Noondizzy thumb
2 Somnia - Twilight Shutdown index finger
3 Ekua - Water 0:00
middle finger
4 Machinefabriek - Slaapstaat ring finger
5 Wouter Brackman - Purple Powder Dream pink

The Invisible Hand was released on November 23 2007 at Merleyn,
Nijmegen, with artsy fartsy video clips for 'Noondizzy' and 'Water 0:00',
and live performances by The Invisible Hand Society: Jop Luberti [Somnia] on
guitar, Wouter Brackman on synthesizer and poet Dennis Gaens at the
microphone.
